Thetti Mapping - ORBAT Update: The 36th Armored Division has crossed the border into Lebanon, probably north of the 2nd closed military zone that was introduced last night. It's a ~50km^2 area just 2km south of Bint Jbeil. 36th is composed of the Golani Infantry Brigade, with the 12th Battalion playing an active. They are accompanied by 188th Armored & 6th "Etzioni" Reserve Brigades. 282nd Artillery Brigade has engaged in heavy of Ayta Ash Shab, Ramyeh, Bint Jbeil, etc.To the northeast in the Galilee Panhandle, the 98th Division is responsible for operations. This includes the 89th Commando Brigade, which has 3 specialized units (Maglan, Duvdevan & Egoz). For now only Egoz has been verified in Lebanon. IDF claimed Egoz destroyed a Hezbollah position with a rocket launcher and weapon stockpiles. Earlier today the anti-guerrilla force entered Odaisseh from Misgav Am. In previous forays there had been virtually no resistance as Egoz located tunnel shafts. This time Radwan operatives from their Eastern Sector ambushed IDF, leading to at least 35 wounded and 2 killed, although Lebanese sources put it as high as 8. Amal Movement announced the death of 2 members today. The Commando Brigade is accompanied by the 35th Paratroopers and 214th Artillery Brigades. 7th Brigade of 36th Div was attached to 98th Div to provide armored support. Additionally, there is scarce information as to whether the 55th Reserve Paratroopers Brigade has been mobilized, last I heard from them they were training on the northern border in late June. Yesterday another 4 reserve brigades were called up to the north, but we still don't know their identities. In white I circled the location of the ambush. The light blue denotes the closed military zones. Lebanese villages marked with red dots have been called upon to evacuate these past 2 days, while the orange dots show villages that haven't been called upon to do so, but are being shelled nonetheless.
