As a citizen of Ukraine, I have something to say to the president of America and to the American people regarding the recent meeting with our president. The thing is, Zelensky is a fu..ing mo..on. He is a disgrace to Ukraine, to Ukrainian diplomacy, and to diplomacy in general...…But then Putin gave Zelensky the greatest gift he could ever receive—he started the full-scale invasion. He invaded Ukraine, and this gave Zelensky an excuse. This tied the people’s hands. The war gave him an excuse to enforce censorship, cut down on free speech, restrict protests, postpone elections, and stay in power indefinitely.That’s exactly why you are absolutely right—Zelensky doesn’t want peace. He doesn’t want the war to end because the end of the war means political and maybe even physical death for him. There is a lot of stuff—from criminal negligence to lying to his own people, possibly even straight-out capital treason. He is going to jail after this war is over and after there are proper elections and a proper democratic process. So, for him, it is a matter of life and death that the war continues indefinitely, so he can stay in power indefinitely.You say he hates Putin. He doesn’t hate Putin. He’s an actor. He pretends to hate Putin so he can use it as an excuse not to negotiate and prolong the war.I am the one who hates Putin. I have served in the Ukrainian military for three years, two of them on the front lines as infantry. I lost my health, I lost many friends—they were ki..ed by Russians. I have ki..ed Russians with my own hands. I hate them with all my heart. But I am not a fuc..ng mo..on. I see that we are not winning this, and if we continue as it is, there will be more and more losses with absolutely no gains. There is a time to be tough, and there is a time to talk. There is a time to cut losses and save what we still have. That time is now……But other than that, all Ukrainians and even Ukrainian soldiers are open to negotiations and compromises in other areas……We are willing to fight. But those who actually fight on the front lines are not sitting in studios. They are not represented. Nobody hears them, nobody sees them. The media tries to show a picture that everyone in Ukraine supports the war, but that is not the reality.…I know this is a somewhat ridiculous request—to disregard the entire president of a nation. But I still want to ask President Trump, the American government, and the American people, with all humility:Please don’t turn your back on millions of honest Ukrainians just because of one incompetent fuc** who, by some terrible accident, became our representative…God bless America.…As you probably know, there is not much freedom of speech in Ukraine now. There is a huge chance that if this video succeeds and becomes viral, I will be found and either imprisoned (best case) or straight-up killed (worst case). I had to wear a mask and change my voice, but you understand this is not total anonymity…So, if I disappear or die for some reason—that was the Ukrainian government.
