It’s essentially a Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG clone (250km range, 450kg warhead), with a slightly longer reach at 500km and a 480kg warhead. But here’s the reality: Taurus stocks are severely limited (Germany has ~600, many outdated),with less than 150 operational, and it requires German specialists for operation, maintenance, and targeting, a serious political move and Berlin’s not signing up for that. Russia’s S-400 and Buk-M3 and Pantsir systems, with proven interception rates (80%+ against HIMARS), will, of course, neutralize it. Look at Ukraine’s overhyped ATACMS & Storm Shadows, all destroyed or jammed by Russian EW like Krasukha-4. Taurus is no different. Another NATO pipe dream. Russia is ready, and these wonder-weapons will change nothing. Another Russian opportunity to show they can defeat NATOs most prized weapons.
