Η αστυνομία στη Ουάσινγκτον συνέλαβε τουλάχιστον 100 Εβραίους - συμπεριλαμβανομένων των ραβίνων, μέλη της Ένωσης Καταστολής της Δυσκολίας, Bend the Arc, T'ruah και άλλες εβραϊκές ομάδες - αφού έλαβαν μέρος σε παράνομη διαδήλωση και κατοχή δημόσιου χώρου σε γραμματεία της Γερουσίας οικοδομική νομοθεσία που θα επιτρέψει τη συνέχιση της ξένης εισβολής στην Αμερική.
Σύμφωνα με μια αναφορά στην Times of Israel , οι Ιουδαίοι κάθισαν σε ομόκεντρους κύκλους την Τετάρτη στην Ροτόντα του Κτιρίου Γραφείων της Γερουσίας της Russell έως ότου αφαιρέθηκαν από την αστυνομία. Τραγούδησαν τραγούδια διαμαρτυρίας σε εβραϊκά και αγγλικά.
Η ισραηλινή εφημερίδα είπε ότι οι Εβραίοι «απαίτησαν τη μετάβαση ενός νομοσχεδίου που θα προστατεύει τους λεγόμενους« ονειροπόλους »."
Ο Αμερικανός πρόεδρος Ντόναλντ Τρμπμ αφαίρεσε τις εκτελεστικές εντολές που έθεσε σε εφαρμογή ο προκάτοχός του, ο Μπαράκ Ομπάμα, για να προστατεύσει τους λεγόμενους «ονειροπόλους» - τους οποίους ο αριθμός τους είναι μόλις κάτω από ένα εκατομμύριο - από την απέλαση.

In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse, when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is…in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to manipulate and therefore control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.
