A package bomb that exploded at a FEDEX facility near San Antonio is believed to be linked to a serial bomber that's been terrorizing Austin, 80 miles away.

Έχουν υπάρξει έξι βόμβες συνολικά από τις 2 Μαρτίου, όταν άρχισαν οι επιθέσεις και οι αρχές κάλεσαν το πρόσωπο πίσω από τις επιθέσεις ένα "σειριακό βομβαρδιστικό".
Με κάθε περιστατικό, ο βομβιστής φαίνεται να έχει αλλάξει τακτική, χρησιμοποιώντας πακέτα από χαρτόνι πρώτα και αργότερα χρησιμοποιώντας ένα tripwire για να βλάψει άλλους.
Οι ειδικοί έχουν πει ότι τέτοια περιστατικά είναι δύσκολο να λυθούν και είναι εξαιρετικά ασυνήθιστα. Ο Danny Defenbaugh, πρώην τεχνικός του βομβαρδισμού του FBI, ο οποίος βοήθησε να επιβλέπει πάνω από 150 έρευνες βομβαρδισμών, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της επίθεσης της Οκλαχόμα του 1995, δήλωσε ότι μπορεί να χρειαστούν χρόνια για να βρεθεί ο υπεύθυνος.

A student gunman opened fire Tuesday at a high school in southern Maryland, injuring two students before an armed school resources officer intervened, authorities said.
The gunman, identified as Austin Wyatt Rollins, 17, was killed, but St. Mary's County Sheriff Tim Cameron said it was not immediately clear whether the school officer fired the fatal shot or whether the gunman killed himself.
The attack began shortly before classes were scheduled to start at Great Mills High, a 1,500-student school 65 miles south of Washington, D.C. Cameron said Rollins was armed with a Glock, semiautomatic handgun when he shot a 16-year-old female student in a hallway. A 14-year-old male student also was shot.
"Our school resource officer was alerted to the events," Cameron said. "He engaged the shooter and fired a round; subsequently the shooter fired a round as well."
Cameron said it was not clear whether the gunman shot himself or fired at the resource officer, identified as Deputy First Class Blaine Gaskill.

The photograph was a rare glimpse of the 81-year-old Arizona Republican senator, who has been battling brain cancer at his family's secluded cabin near Sedona.
Meghan McCain, a political commentator and co-host of ABC's The View, posted the image on her Instagram account Sunday morning:
"No place I would rather be," she wrote in the post.
The short message was followed by a U.S. flag, heart and cactus emojis.

A 13-year-old girl has died after authorities say she was shot Saturday by her 9-year-old brother, local media reported.
Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell said the girl would not give up a video game controller when her brother wanted it.
Cantrell said she was shot in the back of the head, and that the bullet went through her brain.
The girl was rushed to Le Bonheur's Children's Hospital in Memphis. Cantrell said late Sunday that she died of her injuries, WLOV-TV and other media reported.
