Volodymyr Zelenskyy - Today marks exactly five months since the start of our actions in the Kursk region, and we continue to maintain a buffer zone on Russian territory, actively destroying their military potential there. During the Kursk operation, the enemy has already lost over 38,000 soldiers in this single direction alone, with approximately 15,000 of them irrecoverable losses. The Russians have deployed their strongest units to Kursk, including soldiers from North Korea. Importantly, all this manpower cannot now be redirected to other fronts—neither to the Donetsk region, nor against Sumy, the Kharkiv region, or Zaporizhzhia.I thank all our warriors who are bringing the war back home—to Russia—and giving Ukraine more security and strength.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy -         Today, I reviewed the details of electricity imports from the EU to Ukraine via Slovakia—accounting for about 19% of the total volume. Fico won’t cut off our imports. We are working with other neighbors in the EU.

I have instructed our officials to work together with the European Commission and all our European partners to do everything possible to maintain the stability of the unified European energy system and uphold European energy rules.

Whatever Putin may have told Fico during his visit to the Kremlin, European rules must prevail over the ties of any individual with Moscow.                                                                                                          Volodymyr Zelenskyy - When Putin was presented with the Russian presidency more than 25 years ago, the annual gas transit through Ukraine to Europe totaled more than 130 billion cubic meters. Today, it equals 0. This is one of Moscow's biggest defeats.

As a result of Russia weaponizing energy and resorting to cynical blackmail of partners, Moscow lost one of the most profitable and geographically accessible markets.

Given such circumstances, the vast majority of European countries have adjusted to the changes. Our joint task today is to support Moldova during the energy transformation period. We must overcome the hysteria of some European politicians who prefer mafia-style schemes with Moscow to transparent energy policy.

We also hope for an increased American gas supply to Europe, which President Trump has already mentioned. Cooperation and maximum supply from partners will result in more comfortable prices on the market.

The more gas available on the market from Europe's true partners, the sooner the last remaining consequences of Europe's reliance on Russia will be eliminated.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy - I am grateful to Italy and the President of the Council of Ministers, @GiorgiaMeloni, for the outstanding presidency of the G7 this year. Italian leadership is an example of unity, strength, and determination.

Special thanks for the G7’s historic decision to allocate $50 billion in funding from Russia’s frozen assets.

Our cooperation helps save thousands of lives, preserve families, and secure a future for Ukrainian children. Together, we are bringing a just peace and global security closer.

🇺🇦🇮🇹.

Ukraine deeply appreciates the United States’ steadfast support, especially as we approach the end of this challenging year. The nearly $2.5 billion in security assistance is a crucial contribution that will strengthen our defenders on the frontlines.

This support comes at a critical moment, as Russia intensifies its assaults, even resorting to involving North Korean soldiers and continuing to receive weapons from North Korea and Iran. Every act of solidarity from our partners saves lives, strengthens our independence, and reinforces our resilience. It also demonstrates that democracies are stronger then autocratic aggressors.

We extend our gratitude to President Biden @POTUS, leaders and members of both parties in Congress, and all American people for their unwavering support of Ukraine. From the very first days of Russia’s aggression in 2022, the assistance of America and other partners, combined with the heroism, bravery, and determination of the Ukrainian people, has played a key role in enabling Ukraine to defend its sovereignty, liberate significant territories from Putin’s criminal forces, and restore freedom of navigation in the Black Sea.

Russia and its evil axis accomplices speak the language of war crimes and intimidation. Together with the U.S. and other partners who share our values, we must respond with strength, dignity and an unshakable commitment to freedom.

We must continue moving toward peace through strength to achieve our common goal of peace in 2025—a goal shared by Ukraine and all its partners. Ukraine, which defends itself from brutal daily attacks, counts on our strategic friends.
